The National Service Scheme (NSS) at Shri Kumareshwar Arts and Commerce College Hangal,is a dynamic student-centered initiative aimed at nurturing a sense of social responsibility, leadership, and community engagement. The Youth Red Cross Unit of Shri Kumareshwar Arts and Commerce College Hangal proudly organized a memorable celebration of International Women’s Day to honor women’s strength, resilience, and contributions across all walks of life.
The event began with a warm welcome address and floral tributes, followed by motivational speeches from eminent guests, inspiring everyone to champion equality and women’s empowerment. Faculty members and guest speakers shed light on women’s achievements in education, leadership, social service, and community development.
Students showcased their talents through cultural programs, including skits, songs, and dance performances that highlighted women’s struggles and victories. Interactive games and awareness activities conducted by the Youth Red Cross members encouraged participation and spread positive messages about respect, safety, and equal opportunities.
A special felicitation was held to honor local women achievers who have made significant contributions to society. The audience was inspired by their stories of courage and perseverance.
